Do You Serve Breakfast?
The Cowshed, Nest and Old Parlour all have fully equipped kitchens and are self catering. Alternatively, visit our guide to eating out page for recommendation for great local places that serve breakfast and brunch.
Are Pets Allowed?
We adore dogs but due to the close proximity of the barns and their layout we have sadly cannot accept pets.
Are the Barns Child Friendly?
We welcome children of all ages to the barns and can provide a travel cot if requested in advance. We ask guests to bear in mind that the barns are largely open plan across ground and first floors and some have log burners. Children under 2 are free.
How Far Away are The Barns from The Nearest Pub/Shop?
Our nearest pub, The Dusty Miller is just 1/2 mile along the lane so it is possible to walk weather and light levels permitting. The Cholmondeley Arms (Gin Pub 2020) is approximately 3 miles along the lane. We do recommend booking taxis as far in advance as possible as they can be very difficult to get reserve if left to the last minute. You’ll find a list of local taxi numbers on your booking confirmation. We have a great village shop just 1 mile away in Wrenbury that serves local sausages, bacon, eggs and even hot breads in the mornings.
How many Can The Barns Sleep in Total?
We can sleep 10 in total. (4 in The Cowshed and Old Parlour and 2 in The Nest) . The Barns are perfect for larger groups as all can be together whilst still having your own individual barns to retire too and both our local pubs offer fabulous spaces inside and out for large groups to dine not to mention great food! Click here for more information on group stays.
Are Hen Parties Allowed?
Chilled, spa break hen parties are very welcome and we are always very happy to use or local knowledge to help you plan the perfect itinerary for your stay. Please click here for more information regarding group stays.
Do you permit 1 night stays at weekends?
WeThere is a minimum two night stay on Fridays and Saturdays in all barns. However, we often find that, because of the way the bookings fall, we sometimes have some rare 1 night Friday or Saturday night stays in the other barns too so please do contact us email@example.com to enquire. We can sometimes offer 1 night stays for late availability bookings too. Please note that 1 night stays start are approximately 75% of the two night price so it is better value to stay for two nights if you can.
Do I need to pay in full Now?
A 30% deposit is required to reserve your dates wit the remaining balance due 6 weeks before arrival. Please click here for more information.
Bookings cancelled outside of 6 weeks before departure will receive a full refund minus a £50 per barn admin fee. Bookings cancelled inside 6 weeks before arrival are not eligible for a refund so we do urge guests to take full travel insurance to cover your stay.
